Accessibility statement
We sell sites that meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, so this one should too. Here is what we have checked, what we have not, and how to reach us when something stands in your way.
The target
Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, which is also what the European standard EN 301 549 requires of web content.
What has been checked
- Every build is audited automatically by the same checks we run on the sites we convert: text alternatives, labels, headings, language, landmarks, target sizes and more.
- The colour contrast of every pair of text and background colours, in the light and the dark theme, is computed and held above 4.5:1 by a test.
- Every control is a native HTML element — links, buttons, form fields, disclosure widgets — so it works with a keyboard and announces itself to assistive technology without extra code.
- Status messages, such as a scan in progress or a sent link, are announced by screen readers as they change.
- Every page is also tested in a real browser with axe-core, in the light and the dark theme, at desktop width and at 320 pixels — the width WCAG uses for reflow — including the states only a browser reaches: a scan's answer, a failed scan, and the signed-in account with its quotes.
- The same run checks that no page scrolls sideways at 320 pixels or breaks under WCAG's increased text spacing, that every control is at least 24 by 24 pixels, and that the keyboard reaches everything in reading order with a visible focus.
- Every field has a visible label. Errors are announced and take focus, and after an action focus goes somewhere useful instead of back to the top of the page.
- The pages are readable without JavaScript, follow your system's light or dark preference, strengthen their contrast when you ask for more, and keep working in Windows high-contrast mode.
What has not been checked yet
Automated checks, even in a real browser, catch only part of accessibility problems. This site has not yet been tested by a person using a screen reader, nor audited by an independent party, so we do not claim full conformance. Until it has been, the honest description is partially conformant.
